Scope: Delivery of complete recon ABC DZC 8 cylinder engine.
- Complete overhaul of ABC DZC.
- Overhaul of the following components:
- Lower bedplate + inspection and class ad Mark van Schaik.
- Crankshaft + inspection and class ad Mark van Schaik.
- Overhaul of engine block.
- Overhaul of Geislinger damper D63/62 + coupling C44/2/98u. (Geislinger overhaul).
- Replace all bearings.
- Crankshaft, gear train, drives for mechanical driven pumps.
- Overhaul all mechanical driven pumps.
- Overhaul of speed regulator UG8.
- Overhaul piston, connecting rod, cylinder head.
- Overhaul of camshaft.
- Overhaul of turbo + charge air cooler + lubricating oil cooler.
- Overhaul of fuel pumps, injectors, high pressure lines.
- Overhaul centrifugal filter.
- Overhaul fuel duplex filter.
- Overhaul Lubricating oil filter.
- Overhaul Exhaust channels.
- Renew all gaskets and bolted connections.
- Test engine on test bed after finishing.
- Paint engine after all tests are finished.
- Transport of engine to Antwerp Port.
- Packing for transport in open top container.
Overhaul of engine bedplate + inspection + installation
- Bedplate complete dismantled from engine base.Work request:
- Ultrasonically cleaned.
- Measurement of line bore.
- After completion, painting, conserving.
Overhaul of engine top cylinder block
- Painting of engine block after isnpection and cleaning.
- All cooling water spaces cleaned and brushed.
- No pitting in engine block found.
- All studs are checked according the ABC manual, checked on:
- Damage, cracks, corrosion.
- Cracks on studs were checked with crack spray red & white.
No faults detected.
Overhaul/inspection + installation of KBB M40 turbo charger
Cleaned compressor and turbine wheel both in good condition
Test engine on test bed after finishing.
Testing and running in of main engine after overhaul or stand still
Engine painted and reinstalled
Engine ready for transport to an energy plant in Marocco
